Douglas R. Rippel was appointed to the Board of Directors in December of 2021. Mr. Rippel is the founder of American First Finance (“AFF”) and served as its chief executive officer from 2013 to February 2021 and its executive chairman from 2013 until AFF was acquired by FirstCash. Mr. Rippel also co-founded CURO Holdings Corp. (“CURO”), a publicly traded, technology-enabled consumer finance company serving a wide range of non-prime customers. From 1997 to 2012, Mr. Rippel served as chief executive officer of CURO and served as its secretary and treasurer from 1997 to 2008. Mr. Rippel also served as CURO’s executive chairman of the board of directors from 2012 to January 2022 and its chairman of the board of directors from 2008 to 2012.
